Democracy and Law condemns the Israeli navel’s takeover on the Swedish solidarity ship “Esteel” which cause the lost of contact with the ship’s crew. The National Society for Democracy and Law confirms its deep seriousness towards the gravity violations for human rights. Especially since the ship carrying solidarity persons and peace activists came to provide assistance which contribute to break the siege on the Gaza Strip, and to provide a message of peace and to support the rights of the Palestinian people. NSDL reminds the international community of the crime of assault, carried out by the Israeli naval when forced the Turkish solidarity ship on 31st May 2010 in the international waters, that resulted the serious violations of killings carried out on the board of the ship at that time. NSDL calls the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon to intervene immediately to maintain protection for solidarity persons who are on the board of the ship to ensure their safety and enable them to access Gaza to deliver the message of peace and solidarity with the Palestinian people’s rights. NSDL, also, calls all the human rights organizations ,democracy friends and solidarity movements in the world to expose the policy of the Israeli occupation which constitute a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms concerning human rights. . . . .
