National Society for Democracy and Law (NSDL) opened “Save her Rights” Mural, which was drawn in the Arab College of Applied Sciences – Rafah . This activity came within the activities and events of Save her Rights Campaign, which has been launched in March 2019 under  “Providing Legal Aid Services to Vulnerable Groups in Rafah” through” Sawasya II”, Joint Program of the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Women’s Fund and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF): Promoting the Rule of Law in the State of Palestine.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Ziad El Nada, Head of Projects Department, Arab College for Applied Sciences and other academic and administrative figures, Mr. Hossam Jarghon, Legal Aid Project Coordinator, Soad al-Mashani, “the project’s lawyer, Bilal Al-Najjar, “a lawyer in the project, and a number of college students.

During the opening ceremony Mr. Hossam Jarghon, project coordinator, made a speech on the association and the activities it provides through the legal aid project through” Sawasya II”, Joint Program of the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Women’s Fund and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF): Promoting the Rule of Law in the State of Palestine, Including the campaign launched by the Assembly entitled “Save her Rights”, and the nature of the topics that focus on and its importance at the Palestinian society. At the end of his speech, he  thanked the Arab College of Applied Sciences for hosting this activity and its efforts to ensure the success of the activities and events of the campaign.

Then, Mr. Belal Al-Najjar, Lawyer _ Legal Clinic_ at NSDL, spoke about the purpose of this Mural and give explanation about it which aims to correct misconceptions spread among young people. At the end of her speech, he  thanked “Sawasya II” program, NSDL and Gaza University for their efforts to make this activity successful

At the end of the ceremony, the participants opened the mural and some photos were taken.
