The National Society for Democracy and Law opened the mural “Independence of Financial Dignity for Women”, which was drawn up at the Polytechnic University of Palestine, Rafah branch as part of the activities of the campaign “Independence of Financial Dignity for Women” launched by Aoun Network to achieve justice.
The opening ceremony was attended by: Mr. Ziad Al-Najjar, “Secretary of the Palestinian Bar Association” representing the Bar Association and the Aoun Network for Justice, Dr. Ibrahim Muammar, Chairman of the National Society for Democracy and Law, Dr. Sami Abdeen, Director of Polytechnic University of Palestine, students of the Palestinian Polytechnic University, and a number of representatives of the institutions of Rafah Governorate.
The meeting also included the speech of Mr. Ziad Al-Najjar about the nature of the campaign launched by the Aoun network, the nature of the topics that focus on it and its importance in the Palestinian community. He also thanked the National Society for Democracy and Law for its efforts to ensure the success of the activities and events of this campaign and the Palestinian Polytechnic University to host this activity.
Ms. Soad Al-Mashani, Lawyer of the Legal Clinic of the National society for Democracy and Law, spoke on the nature of the activities and projects carried out by the Association, which focuses on the issues of the fragile groups in the southern governorates. Finally, she thanked the Aoun Network for Justice, Lawyers Syndicate and the Palestinian Polytechnic University for their efforts to the success of this work.
Dr. Sami Abdeen also thanked Aoun Network for Justice, the Lawyers Syndicate and the National Society for Democracy and Law for their cooperation with the university and welcomed any cooperation that serves human rights, especially for the fragile groups.
