The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) finished a training course entitled “Promoting Human Rights and Free Access to Information in the Gaza Strip”, organized in cooperation with the National Society for Democracy and Law at the Polytechnic University of Palestine- Rafah.
The training targeted 25 students from the Polytechnic University of Palestine from various disciplines, which lasted for 4 days, during which they discussed many human rights issues, the most prominent of which was the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Social Rights Economic and Cultural Rights and the Convention of Discrimination against Women.
At the end, the students thanked the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the National Society for Democracy and Law, and the management of the Polytechnic University of Palestine for organizing this course. There should be continuity in the holding of such training courses, which have a great role in the development, awareness and empowerment of young people in the Gaza Strip.
