National Society for Democracy and Law (NSDL) held an awareness session for Parliament students of ALjenina School , under the title of ” International Humanitarian Law”
Mr. Mohammed abu ghali, executive director of (NSDL), opened the session, welcomed the attendees, and he spoke about the nature of(NSDL) work and the services they provide to the public and thanking ALjenina school for their efforts in educating school students in the field of human rights.
Mr. Bilal Al-Najjar, lawyer in (NSDL) also spoke about the concepts of human rights and International Humanitarian Law, and The circumstances that led to the existence of international human rights law
Also he spoke about what distinguishes each of the international human rights law and international humanitarian law, In addition to talking about the legal mechanisms available to the Palestinian people to defend their rights, And to punish Israeli leaders for crimes committed against Palestinian civilians.
Before finishing discussion and questions by the students was opened, which have been answered by the trainer
At the end of the session Mr, Abed ELfatah abu sha’ar, teacher of human rights at the school thanks the (NSDL) for its efforts to educate the students in the field of human rights, and asked the society for further meetings that will raise the level of legal awareness among the students
